The relationship started out so lovely
Hours and hours upon the phone
And no one could believe how fast our relationship had grown
I had to go so far away, didn't think that I could leave
And when I heard that last I Love You I thought I couldn’t breathe
I thought you really loved me
I thought you really cared
I thought I'd always have your heart
I thought you'd always be there
I guess I thought too much for us
Far beyond what my eyes could see
There never was me and you
And there is no more you and me
I thought about this for hours
How I deserve a love that’s good
Someone who can appreciate my love
Someone who will treat me like they should
This is not the way I wished, that you and I would be
But I must love you from a far
Because you don't love me
So it's ok if you don't love me
It’s ok if you don't care
But you shouldn't have taken for gratitude
That I would always be right there
So this is my goodbye to you
No more hurt and no more crying
My heart has agreed to move on
I guess it's tired of trying
